CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa ? Mount Mercy University and Stretch Internet are teaming up to provide the Mustangs with online video streaming and live stats content for all sporting events in Hennessey Recreation Center beginning later this fall.
Mount Mercy?s three-year deal with Stretch Internet features a Game Central portal offering links to live and on-demand content. The portal will carry live stats for all volleyball and basketball events in Hennessey Recreation Center.
The addition of live and on-demand video content will begin for volleyball over the coming weeks and will continue during the Mount Mercy men?s and women?s basketball season. Video streaming and live stats for off-campus events such as soccer, baseball and softball are in Mount Mercy?s long-term plans.
Fans will also be able to watch video and live stats for free, both online and on select mobile devices. Video streaming is currently supported on any iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) or any mobile device that has Flash 10.1 or greater (primarily the Android market).
