Inflatable Pontoon Boat

September 11th, 2011 by admin

Inflatable pontoon boat just seeing these little boats I think back to when I lived in fly fishing country in southern BC they would have been just awesome. No need for heavy boat loading or hitching up and towing. I could have just set it in the trunk of my car and had lots of room to spare.

I think with a small electric trolling motor it would have been just so fast to set up and get to the hot spots on the small flyfishing lakes. I had a little electric trolling motor then for my wooden boat I think it was a Minn Kota just a small electric motor but it would push my little boat from spot to spot all day long.

Back then we flyfished most every day we were not working or with the family and I got in trouble for fishing to much then. I think now it could have saved a lot of time and made the trips more fun these little pontoon boats would work perfect in summer because you cuold just use a good set of flippers and troll with your feet and fly fish at the same time as keeping in shape.

The electric boat motors would push one of these boats for about four days on one charge I think they worked really good for the smaller boat I had and the pontoon boat would be very light and have very little drag on the electric boat motor. So if you did not get in a rush and try and get anywhere really fast it would just go on and on.
