SAN DIEGO -- Two people are homeless after a two-story apartment building caught fire in University Heights around 12:20am Saturday morning.Smoke could be seen from the first and second floor. Firefighters say the fire was thought to have started in a unit on the bottom floor.The building was evacuated and crews had the flames out by 1 a.m.No one was injured, and there?s no word yet on the cause of the fire.The fire caused an estimated $125,000 in damage.Copyright 2011 by City News Service.
