Have you heard? ?One of the best festivals in the region returns to Florence this week.

It?s the 29th Annual Florence Greek Festival at the Transfiguration Greek Church. ?The price of admission is $9.00 in advance; $10.00 at the door.

Whether you go to the festival for the authentic Greek Music or the authentic Greek Food, you will not be disappointed. ?I can taste the pastries already. ?Beyond that, don?t forget to learn more about the Religious Artifacts and Icons during the church tours and witness Traditional Greek Dancing. ?Opa!

New is the Charities Bazaar. ?Located in the Festival grounds are several charities that have been invited by the Church to display information about their ministries in Florence. ?Stop by their tables and support these worthwhile charities and ministries:

The festival operating schedule is as follows, so make a note and find a time that works for you and your family:

Thursday, September 22nd ? 11:00am to 8:30pm
Friday, September 23rd ? 11:00am to 8:30pm
Saturday, September 24th ? 11:00am to 9:00pm

Note that drive thru pick-up available from 11:00am to 2:00pm and from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. ?You can order your food in-advance (advisable if you have your heart set on something specific) by visit the official website here.
